Lakshadweep, the smallest Union Territory of India is an archipelago consisting of twenty seven tiny islands in the Laccadive Sea. The beautiful islands are located about 325 km away from the Kerala coast. Out of 27 islands, only 10 are inhabited. These islands are famous for natural beaches and scenic beauty.

Air: Agatti Aerodrome is the only Airport. Cochin International Airport links Lakshadweep with the mainland. Pawan Hans Helicopter service is available between the islands.
Sea: Ship connectivity is there between Kochi and Lakshadweep. Seven operative ships are there and passage time is of 14 to 20 Hours.
